On November 5, 2025, in the USA, @the_tail_tracker shared a first-hand account of a serious in-flight emergency aboard a flight from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles. In the video, a sudden malfunction causes oxygen masks to drop as heavy smoke fills the cabin, creating a tense and frightening situation for passengers. Flight attendants urgently instruct everyone to put on their masks, fasten seat belts, and avoid smoking. One attendant reports that the aircraft had lost all cabin pressure while flying over the Grand Canyon. Despite the severity of the situation, the pilot chooses to continue to Los Angeles instead of diverting to Palm Springs, citing his experience flying A-10 jets.
