US: Silent Snow Transforms Mount Charleston Into Winter Wonderland
Mount Charleston, United States - November 20, 2025 X user Mt Charleston Mountain Man posted a video on November 20, 2025, from the account @mountainman_mc, captioned "It’s incredibly quiet right now… Lee Peak is shrouded in clouds… And it’s currently 28°F". The clip is filmed from a high elevation vantage point on Mount Charleston, just outside Las Vegas, Nevada, roughly 30–40 minutes from the Strip but completely different in winter. The camera makes a slow, smooth 360 degree rotation across a fresh snow covered pine forest at either dawn or dusk, with soft pastel sunrise or sunset light turning the sky shades of pink, orange, and purple. Every surface is buried under deep, untouched powder. Tall evergreen trees are heavily loaded with snow on each branch, the ground lies under a flawless white blanket, and distant peaks, including cloud covered Lee Peak, fade into a misty horizon. There is no wind noise, no people, no animals, and no movement apart from the gentle rotation of the camera and the faint natural hush of a snowy mountain morning or evening. The result is pure winter magic and complete silence, a peaceful, postcard like scene that makes you want to be there instantly — described as one of the most calming snow videos of the season.
