USA: Suspect in Custody After Armed Standoff

LAPD's Southwest Division units responded to a call of a man with a gun in the area of Crenshaw and Adams boulevards.
The man refused to comply with officers resulting in the subject being shot with 40mm less-lethal rounds.
The man came to a rest near a light pole and continued to be non-compliant.
LAPD's SWAT team was called in and began to negotiate with the subject.
The subject was eventually taken into custody shortly before midnight and was transported to the hospital by LAFD.
