This is the hilarious moment an athlete slipped on the track as starting blocks slid out of place.
Footage shows the youngster wearing eyeglasses bending into position and lifting his hips high with his feet on the footrests in Guangdong, China.
Moments later, when he heard the go signal, he kicked his legs, causing the device to slide backward and sending him crashing to the ground on April 6.
His eyewear can be seen dropping onto the track while his friends laugh at the comical mishap.
The filmer said: 'My friend was okay and not harmed. We forgot to engage the lock on the starting blocks before we began practice.'
