Apparent Hit-and-Run in Billings, Montana
At around 7:13pm on Monday, July 7th, 2025, an accident involving a white 2011-12 Honda Accord and a gray 2017-18 Ford Fusion occurred at the intersection of N 27th St. and 7th Ave N in Billings, MT. The Accord exited the Albertsons parking lot heading north in the outside lane while the Fusion continued north in the inside lane from the intersection of 6th Ave N. The Accord then attempted a left turn or U-turn from the outside lane, without a turn signal, and broadsided the Fusion. The collision ripped the front bumper off the Accord, lodging it in the front passenger wheel well. The Fusion continued up the road before pulling into the KFC parking lot. The Accord initially followed, but sped off further down N 27th St once the Fusion turned. The Accord appeared to have trouble maintaining control and quickly turned east onto 9th Ave N. A call was made to the local non-emergency line after the camera driver had returned home and footage was offered to the authorities. The offender's license plate was unable to be determined from the footage. tl;dr Witnessed a hit and run in downtown Billings on Monday, July 7th. The offending vehicle is a white 2011-12 Honda Accord that fled east down 9th Ave N with a missing front bumper. Footage was offered to authorities, no updates. YT: Bad Drivers of Montana
