Ocean Township, United States - November 23, 2025 Body-worn camera footage has cleared Patrolman Moller after a Facebook post accused him of misconduct, intimidation, and being a “jerk” during an incident involving an injured animal. Chief Michal J. Rogalski said he ordered a full review once the post began circulating in the community. The process included speaking with involved officers, reviewing CAD and incident documentation, and examining the body-camera video. According to the chief, the footage shows Patrolman Moller remaining polite and professional throughout the interaction, contradicting the claims made online. He said the findings “differ significantly” from the version of events described in the post. Rogalski rejected comments comparing the officer to the “Gestapo” and calling him a “cocky young cop,” describing the accusations as inaccurate and offensive. He encouraged residents to watch the released footage and assess the interaction themselves.
