Gaza - November 26, 2025 Following an airstrike carried out earlier in the East Rafah area, forces from the Nahal Brigade’s battlegroup conducted a ground sweep of a targeted structure. According to the IDF, troops located one militant who had been killed in the airstrike, along with three additional armed militants inside the building. Once identified, the soldiers engaged them at close range and killed all three. Security forces also detained two additional militants who were present at the site. The IDF reported that over the past week more than 20 militants have been killed and eight others arrested as they attempted to escape from underground terrorist infrastructure in the area. Southern Command troops remain deployed in the region under the existing agreement and, according to the IDF, will continue operating to neutralize any immediate threats.
