The operations conducted by Israel Defense Forces' (IDF) 99th Division in the central area of the Gaza Strip have yielded significant results. The division deployed soldiers who successfully eliminated numerous militants and dismantled vital infrastructure belonging to Hamas organizations. A primary objective was to prevent the passage of Hamas militants and weapons from the northern region to the central area of Gaza.

Notably, the soldiers of the 646th Brigade combat team discovered and raided a compound in Nuseirat. This facility was being used by Hamas to manufacture rocket shells. It had been camouflaged with civilian and multi-purpose machinery, emphasizing the organization's deceptive tactics.

During raids conducted by the 'Yiftah' Brigade combat team, safes containing funds intended for organization activities were targeted. Evidence in the form of documents highlighting Hamas' modes of transferring funds was uncovered.

The 179th Brigade combat team played a crucial role in neutralizing armed militants, destroying tunnel routes, and locating and eliminating weapons caches. Their dedicated efforts included the demolition of structures employed by Hamas.

BG Barak Hiram, the Commanding Officer of the 99th Division, expressed his appreciation for the reservists' efforts and sacrifices. He acknowledged that freedom comes at a heavy price and paid tribute to fallen comrades and wounded soldiers. Hiram maintained that they would continue to prepare for future tasks, whenever and wherever necessary, keeping the aim of preserving freedom at the forefront.
