Puppy’s head trapped between iron door bars, prompts swift rescue operation from concerned officials
Officials came to the aid of a puppy whose head became trapped in the iron bars of a door. The team carefully freed the frightened animal and ensured it was safe and unharmed following the rescue operation.
The incident took place in Palayoor, Guruvayoor. in Thrissur district, in southern India's Kerala, on December 10.
Visuals show that a puppy was seen with its head stuck in the iron grill of a door. Locals alerted the authorities, and the rescue team arrived at the scene. First, they gently covered the puppy’s face with a cloth to calm it, then used an iron cutter to cut the grill. As a result, the puppy was freed and was seen running back into the bushes.
Speaking to Newslions, Prabheesh, Guruvayur Civil Defence Volunteer, Thrissur, Kerala stated that at 9:30 this morning, authorities received a call reporting a puppy trapped with its head stuck in the iron grill of a door. Locals quickly informed the rescue team, who arrived promptly at the scene. To ensure the puppy remained calm, rescuers first covered its face with a cloth. They then carefully used an iron cutter to remove the bars and free the frightened animal.
Once released, the puppy immediately ran back into the nearby bushes. The operation was completed safely without injury to the animal, highlighting the swift response and careful handling by the rescue team.
