The launch represents a landmark $43 million investment aimed at expanding access to community-based mental health treatment. The newly opened programs include: • An Adult Crisis Residential Treatment Program • A Children’s & Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit • A Mental Health Hub for children Together, these facilities form the region’s first full continuum of accessible mental-health services, offering crisis stabilization, treatment rooms, family support areas, and clinical resources that previously required long travel or were unavailable locally. Event Details The ceremony took place at 415 E Ave I, Lancaster, on the High Desert Regional Health Center campus at 9:00 a.m. Press and community members were granted guided tours through the interior of the new facilities, offering a first look at treatment spaces, youth-centered rooms, and upgraded clinical areas. County officials emphasized that these facilities will operate as a unified system designed to reduce emergency room overcrowding, shorten response times, and provide families with more immediate access to mental-health support. A Milestone for the Antelope Valley With this expansion, the Antelope Valley now becomes home to one of the most comprehensive county-led mental health infrastructures in Los Angeles County.
