Los Angeles, United States - November 24, 2025 11/24/2025 07:16 am GMT-0800 SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Los Angeles County Fire Department rescuers are working feverishly underground to locate and free a dog reported to be trapped in a Santa Clarita storm drain. The incident began shortly after 7:15 a.m. when 911 operators received a phone call reporting a dog trapped in an underground storm drain in the residential 22300 block of Circle J Ranch Road. Firefighters, alongside their heavy rescue task force, were continuing to work to locate and free the dog as of 9:45 a.m. The situation remains ongoing.
