A parking dispute outside a small restaurant escalated into a viral confrontation when an elderly woman hurled tamales at a driver who refused to move his car. The clip, posted by @getridofme78, has now surpassed 20 million views.

The man said he had parked on a public street while picking up Menudo, insisting he wasn’t blocking any driveway. As he walked toward the restaurant, a woman approached and claimed the entire area was “her parking.” He told her he would only be a few minutes.

When he returned to his vehicle, the woman knocked on his window and allegedly threatened to pop his tyres, calling him names. Shocked, he began recording — a move that appeared to anger her further. She then threw a tamale at him, a moment captured clearly in the viral video.

He added that once he stopped filming, she threw a metal lock, hitting him in the leg, and claimed she had a gun. He contacted police, who responded but did not arrest her, instead advising him to file a report at a local station. Unfamiliar with the area, he chose not to pursue it further.

I was down in Tijuana México visiting family. On my way back home, i decided to stop and by some Menudo from this little restaurant I seen, so I parked my vehicle across the street where i wasn’t blocking any driveway and in public street. I got off my vehicle and made my way toward the restaurant when a little old lady calls me and tells me if I can move my car because all that is her parking. I let her know I was just picking up my food and would be no more than 5 minutes. I go pick up my food and as soon as I enter my vehicle the lady knocks on my window, I roll it down and she says “next time I’m going to pop your tires you stupid ass. I don’t know who you think you are you fucken dumbass”. Shocked, I start to record her in which it seemed to really upset her so she throws a tamale at me and the rest is clear in the video. What wasn’t captured on camera was when i stopped recording, I got off my vehicle to clean the remaining pieces of tamale on my seat and she throws a lock at me, hitting me on the leg. She then tells me she has a gun so I called the police and notified them of the incident and threats she made. She then tried playing victim and denying everything but I let her know I recorded the whole incident. She was never arrested for it and was told to go file a report at some station but I’m not too familiar with Tijuana so I just left it at that
