Storyline Broader market access fuels China's private investment [Voice_over] China has been taking measures to lower the market access threshold for private capital in a range of key sectors including transportation, water conservancy, energy, and manufacturing. In infrastructure projects, private investment accounts for more than 22 percent of the total. Private equity participation in nuclear power projects in south China’s Guangdong Province, meanwhile, reaches up to 20 percent. And in China’s automobile manufacturing industry, as well as in the railway, ship building, and aerospace sectors, private investment registered double-digit growth in the first 10 months of the year, data shows.
