Lebanon - December 22, 2025 The Israeli military said it carried out airstrikes on Monday targeting two operatives from the Hezbollah organization in the Yater area of southern Lebanon. According to the statement, one of the individuals was killed during the operation and was allegedly involved in efforts to restore Hezbollah military infrastructure in the area, actions Israel said violated existing understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The military added that, over the past week, forces from Division 91 have killed four Hezbollah operatives in southern Lebanon. Israeli officials stated that operations will continue in order to address what they describe as ongoing security threats.
