ISTANBUL, TÜRKİYE - DEC. 28: Istanbul University and the Sudanese Students Community organized a "Sudan National Day" program on Sunday, Dec. 28, to promote the nation's heritage and discuss its current challenges.
Held at the Prof. Dr. Cemil Bilsel Conference Hall, the event featured speeches addressing the ongoing war and humanitarian crisis in Sudan, emphasizing messages of peace and solidarity.
Sudan's Consul General in Istanbul, Osama Mahjoub Hassan Dirar, attended the gathering alongside university officials and students.
The program included a theater performance by students studying in Istanbul, an exhibition of traditional products, and a tasting of Sudanese cuisine.
