Phoenix, United States - January 01, 2026 12/31/2025 11:49 pm GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – The Mesa Fire Department and Mesa Police Department were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 1900 block of East Broadway Road shortly before midnight Wednesday, following reports of a stabbing. According to information gathered at the scene, officers arrived and discovered at least one individual suffering from stab wounds. That person was transported by Mesa FD personnel to a local trauma hospital with serious injuries. Additionally, three other individuals were found at the scene with injuries, but it is unclear whether their injuries were also stab wounds. One man was seen in handcuffs being led away by officers; however, his involvement in the incident is currently unknown.
