Phoenix, United States - January 05, 2026 01/04/2026 09:54 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Phoenix Fire Department and the Phoenix Police Department responded to the 3100 block of West Northern Avenue shortly before 10 p.m. on Sunday following reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, emergency personnel located an unidentified victim who was reportedly struck while attempting to cross the roadway. According to information gathered at the scene, the individual was transported to a local trauma hospital with serious injuries. A mangled bicycle was found at the corner of the intersection, which is presumed to belong to the victim. It is unclear at this time whether the individual was riding the bicycle when they were struck. Phoenix police established a hard closure on Northern Avenue between 29th Avenue and 33rd Avenue while conducting their investigation.
