Chinese car’s trunk opens safely despite tight space
On December 26, 2025, in Hubei Province, located in central China, a video captured a driver opening the trunk of a BYD vehicle after parking. The rear of the car was extremely close to an advertising board.
As the trunk lifted, the driver shouted in surprise, expecting a collision. Miraculously, the trunk cleared the board perfectly and opened without any damage.
Chinese netizens joked that the BYD car “comes with free monkey calls,” referring to the driver’s startled reaction.
