Territorial goose charges at girl as she tries to sneak out of house
This is the hilarious moment a territorial goose charged at a girl as she tried to sneak out of the house.
Alexsa and Angelica had planned a fun afternoon playing outside, but they found themselves held hostage by the grumpy waterfowl that had transformed their front yard into a 'no-go zone' in Camarines Sur, the Philippines.
CCTV footage shows Alexsa cautiously making her escape across the garden while nervously glancing at the two geese waddling nearby, on December 27.
Moments later, Angelica followed. However, as she turned her back, one of the birds suddenly sprinted towards her.
The frantic youngster was forced to leap onto the concrete railing of the veranda to dodge the creature's attack.
Grechen Rebatado, the sister-in-law of the two teenagers, said: 'They were visiting us at home. I told them not to run when going out so they wouldn't be chased or pecked, but they were so frightened they didn't listen to a word I said.'
Geese are naturally territorial animals, especially when they perceive a threat to their space or flock. When approached suddenly or confronted with unfamiliar objects, they may react defensively by hissing, charging, or flapping their wings to scare off the perceived threat.
