This is the dramatic moment a thrill-seeker skis through snow-covered streets during a cold spell in Paris.

Tina Debove recorded herself gliding across the icy cobbles in Montmartre on January 7, as a rare spell of heavy snowfall blanketed the French capital.

Tina said: 'I used my free will and skied at Montmartre in Paris. I've been dreaming of doing this since I was a kid.'

Shot in a GoPro-style format, the clips show Tina skiing dressed in black ski gear as she speeds past historic buildings and amused onlookers.

Paris was hit by a severe winter cold snap earlier this week. Authorities said the extreme conditions were linked to Storm Goretti, a rare cold system sweeping across Western Europe.

The freak weather caused the cancellation of more than 100 flights at Charles de Gaulle and around 40 at Orly, while Eurostar train services were also disrupted.

In south-west France's Landes region, three people died, and 15 were injured in road accidents on Tuesday. Two further fatalities occurred in weather-related incidents around Paris.
