US, Phoenix: Phoenix Crash Involving Valley Metro Bus
Phoenix, United States - January 26, 2026 01/26/2026 03:59 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Phoenix Fire Department and the Phoenix Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision just before 4 a.m. Monday in the 4900 block of West Lower Buckeye Road. At the scene, police and firefighters discovered a collision involving a pickup truck and a Valley Metro bus. The driver of the pickup truck sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Valley Metro bus operator was not seriously injured and declined medical assessment. As a result of the collision, Phoenix police closed Lower Buckeye Road in both directions between 49th Avenue and 45th Avenue.
