US, Los Angeles: Chatsworth Rescue Underway For Possible Suspect In Manhole
Los Angeles, United States - January 27, 2026 01/27/2026 02:21 am GMT-0800 CHATSWORTH, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Police responded to reports of suspected copper wire theft on the 20400 block of West Germain Street early Tuesday morning, where two suspects were believed to be involved, according to initial reports. Reports indicate one suspect was taken into custody, while a second suspect was found inside a manhole. The Los Angeles Fire Department and its Urban Search and Rescue team were dispatched to assist. Rescue efforts were ongoing as crews worked to remove the individual from the manhole safely.
