Police officers rescue elderly man trapped in wet sand
Footage has emerged from China of police officers rescuing an elderly man trapped in wet sand.
The video, captured in Nantong, Jiangsu Province last Friday, shows police working their way towards the 63-year-old man, who appears to be sinking.
He had apparently gone out on the sand when the tide was out at night to catch some shrimps and crabs in order to earn some extra money.
Unfortunately, he got stuck and used a bucket to prop himself up all night.
After 12 hours of being trapped, a digger managed to pull the man out of his predicament.
