Chinese motorcyclist uses his bike to block sinkhole on road until police arrive
A scooter rider stopped beside a sinkhole on a road to warn others until the police arrived in eastern China.
The video, filmed in the city of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province on August 30, shows a scooter rider driving past a section of a road spotting a sinkhole and then stopping beside it.
After around six minutes, he left his scooter to get a bike on the pavement and pushed it to the other side of the sinkhole to block the road.
He then stood on the side of the road until the police arrived.
According to reports, the scooter rider spotted the 30-centimetre diameter sinkhole in the middle of a road and stopped there as a human warning sign for others.
After the police placed the traffic corns around the sinkhole, the scooter rider pushed the bike back and left.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
