CCTV footage filmed in the city of Taiyan in Shanxi Province on November 21 shows a pharmacy shaking and scared employees fleeing when a chemical factory exploded.

Another clip shows cats and dogs running away quickly.

The windows of a flat shattered on the ground and a man named Liu's flat on the 10th floor was damaged seriously.

A plume of black smoke was seen rising up from the chemical factory.

According to a government official, the Jiangyang Chemical Factory exploded. The fire has been put out and no casualties were reported.

Officials were deployed to deal with the incident.
