A deaf and non-verbal boy named Sun Weichao in China painted artwork on long paper scrolls in Shangqiu, Henan Province.

In the video filmed on December 28, Sun was exhibiting his newly completed "Year of the Rabbit Spring Greeting Series" at the Golden Century Square.

He spent 15 days creating two 15-metre-long scrolls, one using red paper and the other using colourful portrait painting, to welcome the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit.

Among them, 12 rabbits represent the 12 months of the New Year, hoping to bring people joy, auspiciousness, happiness and good luck.

According to Sun, he has been fond of painting since childhood and has been learning to paint for many years. He is good at portrait and landscape paintings and has made certain achievements.

The video was provided with permission from local media.
