A man on an electric three-wheeler fell into a frozen fish pond in northern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Shenyang in Liaoning Province on February 19 shows a man driving an electric three-wheeler to clean the snow on a frozen fish pond.

The ice gave way seeing the vehicle sink into the freezing water.

The man's friend spotted the incident and took a tool to rescue him immediately.

Luckily, the man climbed out of the frozen pond himself.

According to the man's friend named Shi, the thick snow on the pond blocked the sunlight which was not good for the fish, so they drove a three-wheeler to clean it up.

However, the icy layer suddenly broke, causing the man to fall into the pond.

Although the three-wheeler has not been taken out of the pond, the man was not injured.
