At about 18:00 on July 24, police officer Abidula Yusuin and his colleagues in Bachu County, Xinjiang were patrolling by the river when they found a man falling into the water. Abidula Yusuin jumped into the water to rescue the man from danger and was soon joined by two of his colleagues, who together dragged the man out of the water.

The rescued man was a nearby villager who was washing his hands by the river when he accidentally fell into the water.
