Footage of a very excited student in Australia jumping into the air with joy after his bottle rocket won a physics class competition at school.

The physics teacher Mr Jacob Stricking, also a famous YouTuber, noticed the student celebrating when he was editing the video down for his channel Make Science Fun.

The rockets are simply made out of plastic bottles and are launched using liquid nitrogen.

A very excited student leaps into the air with joy when his bottle rocket (powered by liquid nitrogen) wins the Physics class competition.
The Physics Teacher, Mr Jacob Strickling, known as the "Mad Scientist" from Australia noticed the student celebrating in the background when he was editing an episode on bottle rockets for his YouTube Channel "Make Science Fun".
The rockets are simply plastic 1.25 Litre PET bottles, with nose cones and fins attached with hot glue. About 100 ml of Liquid nitrogen is poured in and a rubber stopper fitted firmly to the end. As the liquid nitrogen boils and turns into a gas, the pressure then builds up inside the rocket. When the pressure is high enough, the gas pushes out the rubber stopper, which in turn pushes the rocket in the other direction (Newton's Third Law)
