A gas explosion rocked the streets killing two people and leaving two others with minor injuries in China.

Terrifying CCTV footage filmed in Gaomi City, Shandong Province on August 13, shows the moment vehicles were travelling normally along the road when suddenly, thick smoke and flames erupted from the side of the street. The shockwave sent shattered building materials flying, striking nearby vehicles.

Emergency rescue personnel were promptly dispatched to the scene, dealing urgently with the incident.

8月13日上午7时15分左右，山东高密市一沿街房发生燃气闪爆，致2人死亡、2人轻伤。闪爆原因正在调查中。
事发监控视频显示，车辆正在马路上正常行进，突然街边有火光浓烟喷出，冲击波带着破碎的建筑材料飞出，撞上部分车辆。目击市民拍摄的现场视频中可以看到，临街的烤鱼店和银行玻璃已经全部碎裂，地面堆砌有大量砖块、桌椅等。有救援人员已经赶到现场，紧急处理此事。
