A cool video has emerged from Australia of a dad "hacking" his daughter's go-kart so that she can take out the rubbish.

In the video, self-proclaimed "Mad Scientist" Jacob Strickling uses an old furniture trolley and some bits of scrap metal to make a clever lever system which he attaches to the go-kart.

Daughter Mikalah then uses the new system to pick up a large rubbish bin, drive it up the long driveway and drop it off at the side of the road.

Jacob Strickling is a science teacher and has a successful YouTube channel called 'Make Science Fun'.

As Jacob (The self proclaimed Mad Scientist from Australia) is bringing the garbage bin to the road side, his daughter drives by him in her electric go-kart. This gives him a burst of inspiration and he sets about hacking her go-kart so that she can take the bin out in the future.
Using an old furniture trolley and some bits of scrap metal he makes a clever lever system which he attaches to the go-kart.
Footage is then shown of Mikalah using the new invention to pickup up the large rubbish bin, driving it up the long driveway, and then successfully dropping it off at the edge of the road.
