Man pushed onto train tracks escapes being run over
A shocking video has emerged from China of a man narrowly escaping being run over by a train after being pushed onto the tracks.
The CCTV footage, captured in Xiangtan, Hunan Province on July 17, shows a man being pushed from the platform as a train is approaching.
The man can be seen running across the tracks and jumping to avoid the train.
According to local news, the man named Tan was spitting on the floor in the train station which irritated another commuter named Li.
Feeling disrespected, Li pushed Tan onto the track.
He was later arrested by police.
