Sandstorms and strong winds in Beijing have brought destruction to the city and injured several people

A man riding on a motor scooter was thrown from his vehicle when he was hit by a tin roof, which was dislodged by strong wind.

Footage also showed trees which had fallen down in the gale-force winds.

Shocking footage has emerged from China of strong wind hitting Beijing injuring one.

In the video, captured on May 5, the advertising board blown off by the powerful wind knocks down a man on scooter and cars are smashed by the falling down trees.

According to local reports, the speed of the wind reached to 24.4m/s.

One passenger hitting by a dropping stuff on head had severe injury and he was still in surgery.
