A dramatic video has emerged of rescue teams in China forced to use drones to provide life belts to anglers stranded by a flash flood.

The footage, shot on July 18 in Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, shows the anglers untying the life belts from the drones before they can be brought to safety on a speedboat.

To two leisure anglers, their dilemma and deliver both came out of the blue on Tuesday.

Both anglers got stuck in flash flood unexpectedly and both were reached for rescue first by unmanned aerial vehicles unexpectedly in Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, southwest China.
As safety precautions, rescuers resorted to an unmanned aerial vehicle to reach the flood-trapped angler with life jacket and life buoy. Firefighters then rushed a speedboat to get the angler out of his dilemma.

Misery loves company. A second angler was also reported to have stuck in floodwater in another stream the same day.

Police officers and firefighters used the same gadgets to bail this one out of danger as well. This time around, the rescue was dramatized by increased flooding.

When this second angler had put on the life jacket and life buoy, increased flooding swept him further downstream. The rescuers had to run up to one kilometer along the embankment before finally getting the angler up to shore.

Both anglers were rescued unscathed.
