Rescuers in Chengdu City, southwest China's Sichuan Province, successfully executed a daring rescue on Wednesday, deploying a massive drone to save a man clinging desperately to a wooden frame in the middle of a raging river. The man had been fishing in the Linxi River when the water level suddenly rose due to heavy downpours in recent days, leaving him stranded before he could react. Firefighters arrived to find the man perched on a wooden frame amidst raging torrents. Acting quickly, they used a drone to deliver a life jacket and life buoy, guiding him to secure the rescue rope and put on the safety gear. Once prepared, the firefighters expertly operated the drone, lifting the man from his precarious position and transporting him safely to the riverbank, concluding the dramatic rescue.
