Here is a cool video of an Aussie dad who teaches his kids about technology and science, but he makes it fun! The toy car was found in a junkyard and refurbished to become an amphibious vehicle. This toy drives on land and in the water with no issues and then cruises through the pond water once the outboard motor kicks in.

Mikalah (Age 11) builds an amphibious vehicle from a toy car we found in a junk heap. Unfortunately it was quite slow in the water as the outboard motor was a bit of a toy. With my help, we replaced the toy outboard motor with a real trolling motor.
In this footage, the amphibious vehicle goes much faster through the water and is much more fun!
We launched it in a local pond near our place in Terrigal New South Wales Australia
