Fifty transsexual hookers are rounded up and checked by police during a crime crackdown.

Officers trawled the streets and marched the prostitutes to the station in Pattaya, Thailand.

The transgender women wearing revealing dresses and high-heels were forced to sit on the floor while Pattaya police chief Apichai Kroppetch lectured them.

Lt. Col Kroppetch said officers had targeted ‘’risk groups’’ most likely to cause issues with holidaymakers.

He said: ‘’Illegal behaviour will not be tolerated. Pattaya will become one of the most safe places for tourism.''

Police carried out paperwork checks on the escorts and two of the girls tested positive for drugs while another was wanted for a previous crime.

He says to the camera: ‘’I want to suppress crime and theft in Pattaya in the bars. I want to clear away the crime in Pattaya.

‘’We are checking if people have guns, if if they have drugs. To be safe about the crime that happens. With the tourists and crime.

‘’I take the ladyboy on the Walking Street and Soi Bua Khao because that area has a lot of tourists that come to holiday.

‘’There are a lot of problems with the offences of theft.

’’This group I want to check their background and protect people from having problems with the tourists.
