Philippines billboard accidentally plays porn clip
+CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: CONTAINS SEXUAL CONTENT+
Drivers were shocked when a large digital billboard started showing hardcore porn.
The steamy video was aired on one of the displays in the busy city of Makati, the Philippines yesterday (March 20)
The footage showed an x-rated website clip of a man on top of a woman having sex. The scene is partially covered by a Windows notice box, which disappears revealing a different shot of couple making love. A graphic internet advert showing a naked couple can then be seen in the corner of the large billboard display.
One motorist who saw the footage being played while they were driving to work said it was ''hard to believe what they were seeing''.
''It was funny and surprising at the same time.
''I have no idea who was at fault,'' he added.
The spectacle lasted for about 30 seconds before being taken down.
Makati City Business Permits and Licensing Office head Maribert Pagente said in a statement: ''Upon being informed of reports of inappropriate images being shown on the billboard located at Sen Gil Puyat Ave. cor Makati Ave. Mayor Abby Binay immediately the owner of the billboard to cease and desist from operations last night.
The office of the mayor is also conducting an investigation into the cause of the incident and liabilities of those concerned. Pending such investigation, the billboard shall remain closed.''
