Police arrested a Thai administrator for allegedly running secret porn channels on a Russian social media website.

Chaiwat, 34, also known by the pseudonym 'Satoshi Nakatomo' online, reportedly charged people 300 baht (6.69 GBP) a year to join his adult group 'Sexflix VIP 2' on the Russian website VK.

The channel was said to contain hundreds of obscene pictures and videos of young women.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Than Buranachai of the Technology Crime Suppression Division said police learned of the channel after seeing online advertisements posted on social media.

They arrested Chaiwat at his home in Chiang Mai province on August 22. Authorities seized two notebooks, four phones, and one recording device from the premises.

The police chief said: 'The suspect admitted to all charges and to being an administrator of the VK pages. He began operating them around April 2022 and continued until now with the main VK account 'Satoshi Nakatomo'.

‘He created subaccounts, 49 of which were found on his computer.'

Chaiwat reportedly earned around 30,000 baht (667 GBP) per month through the subscriptions.

He allegedly ripped content from porn creators to use for his channels and was the subject of five copyright complaints.

Chaiwat was handed over to the inquiry officer at the Sankamphaeng Police Station. He faces charges of importing pornographic information into a computer system and distributing pornography for commercial purposes.
