Horrifying footage has emerged of two Thai men launching a brutal attack on a tourist this morningThe holidaymaker had been visiting the busy Walking Street area of Pattaya, Thailand, with his girlfriend when he stopped outside a supermarket to buy beer. He is said to have left the bottles with two locals selling CDs on the street but became angry when he returned and the drinks had disappeared. The man in jeans and flip flops got into an argument with the street vendors before the paired up and repeatedly kicked and punched him in the head in front of shocked passers-by at 2am. Sickening footage of the attack was given to police who tracked down the attackers, named Tonwat Konyang, 38, and Nakon Kamsuk, 35, and fined them 2,500 baht (57gb) each over the assault. They were filmed at the police station being interviewed by police chief Apichai Krobpetch who said officers have still not found the victim. Tonwat, who admitted the attack, said: ''I admit that I was wrong and lost control of my emotions. The tourist had put a bag of beers down and said he would come back. A girl came and put it in the bin because she said she had an argument with the tourist. When the tourist came back the tourist blamed us for putting the beers in the bin. He became aggressive and could not understand us, demanded we buy him more beer. He swore at us. I lost my temper and beat him up. I apologise for this and for damaging the image of Thailand.'' Pol Col Krobpetch said: ''The investigation found the two attackers and they were fined. We are not trying to find the victim and the woman.''
