gas station exploded
Allegedly caused by sparks, a gas station in the area Berbek, Waru, Sidoarjo, East Java, exploded and burned on Thursday (8/3/2018) morning. As a result of the incident, one person died, while four others were rushed to hospital for serious burns.
Fires occurred when a LPG truck filled fuel at the gas station. The fire that accompanied the explosion made people around the scene. One person was reportedly dead by this incident, while four others suffered serious burns. In addition, there were recorded three cars burned and participated damaged by the deadly incident.
Due to the condition of the location filled with combustible materials, fire officers Surabaya and Sidoarjo who came to the location had difficulty extinguishing the fire. At least eight fire trucks were brought to the scene. Fire could be extinguished about two hours after the incident.
The explosion was heard up to a radius of several kilometers from the scene. because of the explosion, a number of cars around the location were damaged. The gas station's office glass also broke apart.
