A father was stunned when he came down for breakfast and found two snakes MATING on the kitchen floor.

Tee Macau, 40, opened the door at 8am and jumped in shock at the sight of the dark black serpents entwined on the tiles.

The father-of-one cut short his morning routine and used a blue plastic police to separated the reptiles which slithered out of his home in Bangkok, Thailand, on February 26.

Bizarrely, Thais believe that two snakes mating in your home is a sign of good luck - and Tee promptly gave out his house number 1/416 for people to use in their lottery numbers.

He said: ''This happened in my kitchen in the morning. It's not a love hotel, it's my home!

''I don't gamble but I hope this is lucky for people who play the lottery. I gave my house number so that gamblers could have it on their lottery tickets.''
