Teenager eats his breakfast in 3 feet of water during Philippines floods
This is the hilarious moment a teenager tucked into his breakfast - while submerged in three feet of flood water.
Geremy Almoite, 19, woke up to find his home in Marinka City, Philippines, swamped after heavy rain on August 11.
But that didn't stop the lad from enjoying the most important meal of the day.
While his mother, Analyn, and sister panicked and made plans to leave the home - Geremy rustled up his favourite pancakes covered in lashings of chocolate sauce before sitting down at the kitchen table.
The amusing footage captured him looking less than impressed by the wet surroundings but still continuing with his breakfast.
He said: ''This wasn't the most enjoyable breakfast I have had. But I did not want the weather to stop me living my life.
''I have pancakes every morning for breakfast. They're my favourite. I knew it was going to be a long day so I wanted to eat.''
Central regions of the Philippines around the capital Metro Manila have were battered with torrential rain for several days at the end of last week.
The downpours caused severe flooding and led to tens of thousands of people being taken into emergency accommodation.
