Floods and landslides have battered Indonesia’s Sulawesi, killing at least 70 people and displacing thousands.

Footage captured this morning (February 1) in Manado City, North Sulawesi, shows a man trying to stay afloat whilst being dragged by the flood waters.

The man was later rescued and rushed to the hospital, reports said.

Later in the clip, three women can be seen walking through a flooded road whilst other residents climb to the roof of their properties as the level of the flood rises.

The local Meteorological Agency has issued a warning early this morning local time as heavy rain is expected to continue in the next hours.
