Transformer fan dresses up in 9ft Bumblebee costume in China’s Shandong
A fan of the "Transformers” franchise dressed up in a home-made Bumblebee costume and showed it off to the public on a street in eastern China.
The cool video, shot in Jinan City in Shandong Province on March 11, shows a 42-year-old man named Wang Baozhong dancing in a 2.8-metre-high and 20-kg Bumblebee costume on a street.
Passersby drawn to the incredible costume try to touch and take photos with the "human Bumblebee".
According to Wang, he was a super fan of the movie “Transformers” and he wanted to be a superhero when he was a child.
Wang met two friends who were interested in making Transformer armour costumes as well last year, so they made the Bumblebee armour together over the course of more than a year.
The Bumblebee outfit is very flexible and it also has a voice modulator. The suit can make sounds and looks almost exactly the same as the one in the movie series, but scaled down.
Wang said they will continue to make suits for the characters Optimus Prime, Megatron and other Transformers' armours.
