This is the amusing moment two schoolboys tried to show off to a group of girls by pulling wheelies - only to crash onto the ground.

The riders were trying to impress their female classmates with the stunt as they walked home from a secondary school in Nakhon Nayok, central Thailand on August 19.

But as they were lifting and holding the front wheel up, the motorcycle lost its balance and suddenly flipped over before slamming into the pathway.

The bikers were seen sliding on the road in a different directions before slowly standing up and walking away with painful looks on their faces.

Motorist Wuttichai Prakob, 26, captured the moment while he was parking his car and waiting for his nephew to finish school in the evening.

Wuttichai said: ''They drove very fast and caught everybody's attention, not because they were cool but because their motorcycle was very loud.

''I felt a little bit sorry for them but at the same time it was also funny to see how they tried to keep cool after the incident. Those high school girls just stood there and giggled.''
