Customers at a stall in New Delhi tried some extra spicy treats when they had burning betel leaves placed into their mouths.

Fire paan or the flaming betel leaf is becoming quite popular among young Indians, as the fire extinguishes once it enters a person's mouth, with this example being filmed only on September 22.

Paan is a local mouth freshener - a mix of local herbs such as cloves, betel nuts and cardamom among other ingredients, which are wrapped in a betel leaf.

The fiery flavour has become one of the popular Paan choices apart from other flavours like Chocolate and Ice-Paan.
