This dramatic drone footage gives a birds' eye view of a grocery delivery van stranded in the flood-hit north of England as the road it was driving on turned into a river.

Rescue workers can be seen wading through the knee-high water to help get the driver to safety as a car is almost entirely submerged further down the road in video filmed on Tuesday (November 12).

The video shows the shocking extent of the flood damage in Fishlake village near Doncaster, which has seen hundreds of people forced to leave their properties.
