Dozens of commuters took part in the No Pants Subway Ride day in New York in 2020, and the event is set to return on January 9, 2023.

Dozens of commuters belonging to the organizations Guy Social and Girl Social rode the New York subway without pants to benefit the Ali Forney Center, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect LGBTQ individuals from the harms of homelessness.

This group started their ride at Columbus Circle and rode the rails uptown and downtown, eventually leading them to Union Square, where they walked down 14th St to the Nowhere Bar in the East Village.

This event was sponsored by Original Penguin clothing company and is distinct from the original event by Improve Everywhere, called the "No Pants Subway Ride" which was held on the same day (and crossed paths with this group.)
