Carrying the 700-year-old tradition of playing Dara, a unique form of street football was observed again this year in Rajasthan.
The event took place on January 14 in the region of Namana Barundhan, Bundi district.
Visuals captured show the young men kicking a heavy ball-shaped object on the streets of the region.
Footage also shows a large number of villagers witness and enjoy the game as the players enthusiastically celebrate the cultural sport.
According to reports, On the eve of Makar Sankranti, after paying due obeisance to dada in front of the Laxminath temple, the game commenced.

Few participants have been slightly injured so far while kicking as it was so heavy measuring nearly 40kg.
